R.D. Cowan

R.D. Cowan is the pen name of Donald R. Cowan, a dual-branch United States Veteran who has spent a lifetime navigating the high-stakes systems most people only see from a distance. Donald served his country on the front lines, first as a U.S. Army Infantryman, and later behind the wire as a U.S. Air Force Security Forces Journeyman. Grounding his tactical real-world exposure in deep academic analysis, he earned a B.S.in Criminal Justice Administration and Ethics, from Mid-America Christian University. Today Donald pulls his legal and tactical background out from behind the shadows. By channeling his insider knowledge into fiction, he exposes the deep-seated institutional corruption and moral compromises that those still inside can’t—or won’t—dare to touch. Writing with relentless grit and authentic authority, he crafts stories where true justice answers to no hierarchy.
